The BusReady Kids Facility Tour offers preschool and daycare groups (aged 3–6) a fun, hands-on experience exploring a BC Transit facility while learning about transit in a safe and educational setting. The tour is available at the Victoria and Langford transit centres and is open to all preschools and day care centres upon request.
During the tour, children will:
Explore various BC Transit department areas.
Visit our maintenance garage to discover how we keep our buses safe and ready for the road.
Ride in a double-decker bus around our facility, ending with a (surprise) trip through the bus wash!
This unique experience lets children ask questions and gain an early understanding of how buses and transit systems work.
Please be advised that the Kids Facility Tour experiences high demand and typically reaches full enrollment early. As spaces are limited, we encourage caregivers to register promptly to secure placement.
When tour booking is at capacity, there is an option to join a waitlist where applicants will be contacted should a space become available. We appreciate your understanding.
