Seasonal service changes on the Sunshine Coast
SUNSHINE COAST – Enjoy some fun in the sun with BC Transit as seasonal service changes take effect in the Sunshine Coast Regional Transit System.
Starting October 15, transit users on the Sunshine Coast will find it easier to get to the Langdale Ferry Terminal thanks to schedule adjustments to maintain alignment with the latest BC Ferries seasonal schedule and respond to increased weekend demand.
The seasonal service change will include schedule changes to route 1 Langdale Ferry/Sechelt and route 90 Langdale Ferry/Sechelt Express. There will also be a few minor schedule adjustments on local routes 2 West Sechelt, 3 Sechelt Arena and 4 Halfmoon Bay.
Route 2 West Sechelt will be rerouted on Cowrie Street to Norwest Bay Road to service Chatelech Secondary School.
BC Transit works hard to match service with demand, seasonal service changes help meet higher ridership numbers seen during peak travel months. These changes are based on regular seasonal service changes to better align with the latest BC Ferries schedules.
