Google Transit Trip Planner

To help you plan your trip, BC Transit is piloting Google Transit. To ensure we continue to improve the usefulness and accessibility of transit information, we welcome your feedback via transitinfo@bctransit.com.

In the event of service changes and disruptions, BC Transit information may be more current that Google Transit. For schedules, maps and customer alerts, or if Google Transit can’t locate the address you enter, use the BC Transit website.

Getting Started

  1. To get directions on how to get from one place to another, click 'Get Directions'.
  2. Choose the transit icon.
    Enter your origin.
    Enter your destination.
  3. Click to enlargeYou can choose whether you want to 'Leave now', 'Depart at' or 'Arrive by' a time and date.
  4. Click the 'Get Directions' button.
  5. If you see your origin or destination highlighted in yellow, Google needs you to choose which location you are referring to. Click the correct location from the list.
  6. Google will provide up to three trip options, with estimated times and a step by step trip description. Your trip will show up on the map to the right.

Tip! In Google maps, you can double click anywhere on the map to zoom in, or you can use the zoom toolbar on the left side of the map. By holding your left mouse button on the map, you can drag it in any direction.
