Advisory Group

Introduction

The Community Consultation Plan for the Central Okanagan Transit Future plan is an inclusive, collaborative process that relies on your participation to ensure the future transit system meets the diverse needs of the Central Okanagan. Opportunities to participate and provide input will be plentiful and diverse, including public open houses, online discussions, surveys, and direct correspondence with the project team. The results of all public input opportunities will be housed here.

Two community groups have been created to act as a sounding board for the Transit Future project team, providing a more detailed review of project components. The Municipal Advisory Committee (MAC) is composed of Municipal staff members from Kelowna, West Kelowna, Lake Country, Peachland, and Vernon. The Stakeholders Advisory Group (SAG) includes representatives from community organizations, institutions, the business sector, schools, cycling groups and neighborhood associations.
