The 25-Year Transit Network
With your input, BC Transit has developed a vision for the future of transit that focuses on establishing transit corridors. Featuring the hwy 97 RapidBus and the Frequent Transit Network, which operates at least every 15 min, 15 hours, 7 days/week, the primary network will support and sustain walkable, dense communities.
In addition to the primary network, the Transit Future plan will use four service layers, tailoring different types of transit to community needs.
The Network Vision map below shows the rapid, frequent and regional transit corridors. While not shown on the map, the network will be complemented by local and specialty services such as handyDART.
