FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions
Purpose and Design of Game
Why has BC Transit developed this Game?
A critical element of BC Transits Corporate Strategy is to continually reach out and speak with our customers.
The
Game Plan is a fun, easy way that B.C. residents can provide feedback to help
BC Transit plan and prioritize service for our future. The Game Plan will be played
on our Road Tour, as well online. Providing the Game Plan online is a way to make
it easy for residents to have their say from the comfort of their home.
Is there a difference between the Game Plan on the BC Transit Road Tour and the one online?
The online Game Plan may look a little different than the one played on our Transit Future bus, but the steps, questions and options are the same. A benefit to playing online is that the program will show how your selections stack up to other online players.
Can I play this game with others?
You choose. You can play the game on your own or with others. Feel free to pull your friends and family together and play online as a group! By playing as a group, you can expect a lot of lively discussion.
How were the selections provided in the game developed?
These initial selections are based on statistical information and preliminary stakeholder feedback. We need your help to build on these ideas and confirm that we're on the right track.
How will BC Transit use the feedback collected from the Game Plan?
Your comments will help build the transit vision, network and priorities for the next 25 years. Once completed, the Transit Future plan will guide decisions made on transit improvements, related land use development and roadway changes on major transit corridors.
