Welcome Aboard!

Everything you need to know about using the Whistler and Valley Express (WAVE) Transit System is on this Website.

For detailed information about WAVE services, use the pull-down menus from the blue menu bar above. For transit information in other BC communities, or for general BC Transit information, click on a category on the menu bar below.

Funding for WAVE is cost shared between the Resort Municipality of Whistler and BC Transit.

Decisions about fares, routes and service levels are made by the Resort Municipality of Whistler based on information and planning provided by the Municipal Systems Program of BC Transit.

The buses are operated by Whistler Transit Ltd.
Customer Alerts
Summer Lost Lake Shuttle starts June 27, 2009. Service runs every 15-20 minutes between 11:00am and 6:00pm through September 7, 2009. See route 33 for details. The Spring/Summer/Fall Rider's Guide is available here. (view 828.0k PDF)
Due to Hwy. 99 construction in the Function Junction to Creekside area, where intermittent single lane alternating traffic delays of 15 minutes duration will occur (primarily in the time period 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM), Routes 1 (Creekside Express) and 2 (Whistler Creek) may experience delays. Please plan trips accordingly.
Sea to Sky Transit
The 9:10 PM (From Squamish) and 12:20 AM (From Whistler) will continue to run until further notice - anticipated highway construction is not yet impacting on service delivery.
