Taxi Saver Program
If a handyDART customer cannot book handyDART for a trip, they call a participating taxi company, mention Taxi Saver, and then pay using Taxi Saver Coupons.
Booking a Taxi Saver Trip
To book a taxi saver trip, call one of these participating taxi companies:

Bluebird Cabs and Empress Taxi have wheelchair and scooter accessible vehicles. When you call to book your taxi, tell the dispatcher if you need an accessible vehicle.
Paying for your Taxi Saver Trip
When you reach your destination, present your handyPASS to the driver. The driver will record your handyPASS number.
Then use your Taxi Saver Coupons to pay the dollar amount of the taxi meter fare, and coin to pay anything that is not a whole dollar amount. For example, if the taxi fare is $5.80, you would pay $5.00 using Coupons and 80¢ in change.
Rules
- Taxi drivers cannot make change for Taxi Saver Coupons.
- You may not use coupons as gratuities/tips.
- Taxi Saver coupons are not transferable to other individuals or transit systems.
