There are two types of transit service in Smithers.

The Fixed-route Transit Service provides five to six scheduled trips every weekday between Smithers and Telkwa. Limited Saturday service is available. There is extra time built into the Smithers-Telkwa schedule for the bus to make deviations of up to 500 metres from the fixed route to pick up those passengers who are seniors or who are less physically mobile.

The other service is Door-to-Door Transit Service. This service provides door-to-door transportation to and from destinations in Smithers and Regional District areas.

The transit vehicles used for both transit services are equipped with accessible features to make boarding easier for passengers with mobility problems. They are also equipped with a lift for passengers who use wheelchairs or scooters.
