Everything you need to know about using the Smithers and District Transit System is on this Website.

The transit system is sponsored by the Town of Smithers in partnership with the Village of Telkwa, the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako and BC Transit.

The system is operated by the Smithers Community Services Association. The system serves major neighbourhoods and destinations throughout the area, including the recreation centre, the college and the hospital.

The transit vehicle is equipped with accessible features to make boarding easier for those passengers with mobility difficulties. It is also equipped with a lift for passengers who use wheelchairs or scooters.
