taxiDART is door-to-door transportation for people with disabilities. Any person who is unable to use regular transit due to a physical or cognitive disability is eligible for taxiDART service. RegistrationYou must be registered with taxiDART before you can use the service. (There is no registartion fee.) To register, call 632-8666 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Or download the PDF of the taxiDART Application here. Booking a taxiDART TripTo book a trip, call 632-7250. Please give at least 24 hours notice prior to your trip. We will try to accommodate same-day trip requests. Trips between 7:00-8:30 a.m. and 6:00-7:30 p.m. must be pre-booked. Please be flexible, as you may have to adjust your trip time to fit the busy taxiDART schedule. taxiDART is a shared-ride public transit system. Trip GuidelinesYou can take up to two taxiDART round trips (or four individual one-way trips) per day at the regular fare, which is subsidized by the District of Kitimat and BC Transit. Passengers can choose to take more than four trips per day by paying the full cost of the additional trips. Your taxiDART dispatcher will be able to provide you with additional trip cost rates upon request. There are two types of service:
Cancelling a TripIf your plans change, please call 632-7250 as soon as possible so that we can schedule a trip for someone else. When the taxiDART ArrivesPlease be ready when the taxiDART arrives. Keep in mind that other passengers may be waiting. Hours of OperationThe taxiDART operates every day between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. taxiDART Fares
