Fares

Please have exact change ready when you board the bus. Click here for fares.

* Note: BC Transit Bus Passes are not accepted.

Safety on the Bus

Please remain seated when the bus is in motion. Do not put your arms or elbows out of the window. Do not bring combustible materials such as wet-cell batteries and gasoline containers onto the bus.

Getting off the Bus

After leaving the bus, wait until the bus pulls away and you have a clear view of any oncoming traffic before you cross the street.

Passenger Responsibility

Please be ready to board the bus ten minutes before to your scheduled pick-up time. The bus driver will try to stick to the schedule as closely as possible, but sometimes weather, traffic and unforeseen incidents keep the bus from being exactly on time. Therefore, please leave a 10-minute window on either side of your pick-up time. If the bus is more than 10 minutes late, feel free to call the transit office to see what's going on.

Have your fare ready when you get on the bus.

If you are using a Walkman or other portable music player, please ensure you are not disturbing other passengers by keeping the volume down.

Lost and Found

If you lose something on the bus, call the Kimberley Transit System office at 250-427-2317. If you find something on the bus, please give it to the driver, who will deliver it to Lost and Found.

Kimberley Transit will keep articles in Lost and Found for up to 90 days, then send unclaimed articles to a charitable organisation.
