Funding for the Hazeltons' Regional Transit System is cost shared between the Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine, Village of Hazelton, District of New Hazelton, First Nation communities, BC Transit and passenger fares.

Decisions about fares, routes and service levels are made by the Regional District based on information and planning provided by the Municipal Systems Program of BC Transit.

The transit system is operated by Farwest Bus Lines Ltd.
