Cowichan
Valley Transit carries over 330,000 passengers each year. Frequent, reliable
transit service is the key to good transit service.
The Cowichan Valley Regional District and BC Transit are reviewing the
transit routes and schedules of the local transit system to provide more
direct routes and simpler schedules. Please take a few minutes to read
the proposed changes and let us know how these changes can work for you.
How does the proposed plan benefit me?
The proposed service will provide transit customers with more direct connections
with fewer transfers. On some trips, travel times will be reduced.
There will be two-way bus traffic on some transit routes throughout the
day. Two-way routes are more effective and reduce the number of trips
going in one direction.
