BC Transit is thrilled to introduce our new Nova bus – it’s beautiful inside and out. The newest member of the BC Transit family is the first production bus in the world with Nova’s “driven to be stunning” interior. The bus interior is vibrant with clean lines that cleverly allow for greater engine access and concealed electronics in the ceiling. Those hidden components won’t distract BC Transit riders and their view of our exciting lay-out and colour scheme. Customers will benefit from a LCD monitor on Nova bus with BC Transit rider information. The monitor is also a potential revenue source for BC Transit.
The Nova bus is EPA 2010 compliant and offers the cleanest diesel engine technology offered on the market today.
Please join BC Transit President & CEO Manuel Achadinha and Nova Bus Director of Product Planning Jean-Yves Vallée for a ride on the future bus. The Nova bus will be on display at Connections – BC Transit’s 2012 Workshop. The Workshop brings together BC Transit staff, local government stakeholders and our operating partners.
