Safety is one of BC Transit’s Core Values, and therefore, we are committed to taking a proactive approach to earthquake preparedness. This video explains the responsibilities of BC Transit employees before, during and after an earthquake. On October 18th at 10:18am, a locally-driven province wide Great British Columbia ShakeOut will take place. Employees are encouraged to watch this video at that time, and take part in the largest earthquake drill in Canadian history.
